Senior Technical Project Manager – Ads Reseller & CTV
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Technical Project Manager with deep experience in advertising technology, CTV platforms, and ads‑reseller ecosystems. In this role, you will drive complex, multi‑team initiatives that support the onboarding, integration, and scaling of reseller partnerships and CTV monetization solutions. You will partner closely with engineering, product, ad operations, demand partners, and external vendors to deliver solutions that accelerate revenue growth and improve ad delivery performance.
This position requires strong technical acumen, exceptional project leadership, and a clear understanding of how streaming video, ad serving, and reseller models intersect.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Leadership
- Lead large cross‑functional programs focused on CTV monetization, ad‑reseller integrations, and platform scalability.
- Drive end‑to‑end delivery—from scoping and requirements through launch and post‑launch optimization.
- Establish project timelines, risks, milestones, communication cadences, and success metrics.
Technical Expertise & Execution
- Translate business goals and partner needs into clear technical requirements for engineering and data teams.
- Oversee implementation of ad‑tech components including ad servers, SSAI/DAI workflows, SDK integrations, ad decisioning, tagging, and measurement.
- Identify and resolve technical blockers across CTV devices, distribution endpoints, and ad‑reseller systems.
CTV & Reseller Ecosystem Leadership
- Manage onboarding and integration of reseller partners, ensuring compliance with platform policies, ad quality standards, and monetization goals.
- Work with SSPs, DSPs, exchanges, and resale partners to optimize demand paths and improve fill, CPM, and delivery.
- Ensure alignment on auction mechanics, reporting integrations, and troubleshooting frameworks.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product, engineering, sales, ad ops, legal, and finance to ensure seamless execution of monetization programs.
- Serve as the technical liaison for internal teams and external partners, providing clarity, documentation, and escalation support.
- Build repeatable processes and frameworks for partner integrations and CTV ad delivery enhancements.
- Develop documentation, integration guidelines, troubleshooting playbooks, and operational workflows.
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of technical project/program management experience, ideally in ad tech, streaming, or digital media.
- Deep understanding of:
- CTV/OTT ad serving and SSAI/DAI
- Ad‑reseller models and demand‑routing strategies
- Ad servers (FreeWheel, Google Ad Manager, etc.)
- Programmatic pipelines (SSPs/DSPs, OpenRTB, floor optimization)
- VAST, VMAP, MRC/IAB standards
- Experience leading complex multi‑team integrations with external partners.
- Strong ability to read technical architecture diagrams, API documentation, and log‑level debugging.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder alignment, and executive reporting skills.
Preferred
- Experience with large‑scale streaming platforms or high‑traffic media environments.
- Background in ad operations or demand/inventory management.
- Familiarity with identity solutions, privacy frameworks, and cross‑platform measurement.
- PMP, Scrum Master, or technical certification (not required but beneficial).
